My Vistage experience
As the first Vistage business coach, known as a Chair, in south-central Kansas, I lead the peer-group accountability process that is at the core of the Vistage experience. I guide, coach and mentor members to become better leaders, who make better decisions and achieve much better results.
The Vistage experience is "the place where CEO's have their answers questioned." My initial role is to select CEO's who will contribute synergistically to the group’s knowledge and experience. From there my responsibility is to coach individual CEO's to bring their issues and opportunities to the group and to encourage them to question their assumptions. This process permits each CEO to make more informed decisions. The goal is for each member to realize his/her full leadership potential while leading a more balanced personal life.
My Vistage group
The industries represented by members in my CEO group include: marketing, manufacturing, technology, insurance, health care, distribution, commercial printing, pharmaceuticals, online retailing, industrial services, home repair/remodeling and advertising.
My group is comprised of successful women and men ranging in age from the early thirties to mid-sixties. Members actively support and encourage each other. Our meetings are productive, fast-paced and lively.

The ideal Vistage member is an entrepreneur and/or executive with a passion for lifelong learning, and who is curious and willing to make important changes to increase his or her personal and professional success. They're willing to be challenged by others, open to new ideas and like to have fun! And they are up to the challenge of leading a successful business, even in turbulent times like these.

I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an M.B.A. from John Carroll University. I also graduated from the Program on Negotiations for Senior Executives at the Harvard Law School.
I enjoy tennis, traveling, working on home improvement projects and spending time with my wife, Cynthia, our three daughters and one son-in-law and our 17-pound cat, Rocket.
